“Fantastic Arcade” Game Jam 2014

Kuru-kuru! Kuru!

In this game, two players share control of conjoined twins to competitively spend money on conveyor-belt sushi.

KuruKuru! was made over the course of a week for Fantastic Fest’s annual “Fantastic Arcade” game jam. After a successful reception at the event, the game garnered over 100k plays and thousands of downloads on itch.io thanks to a feature from YouTube’s PewDiePie:

Unfinished Nonsense

Katamari DOOMacy

“The King of Sin” - Painted in Photoshop

Though I have no plans of taking this project further, I am still proud of the time I spent mashing a roll-able Katamari into DOOM classic (running on GZDoom).

Should I find myself with another long weekend and nothing better to do, I may sink some more time into animating hands to replace the weapon sprites, replacing the player portrait, or finding a way to make enemy gibs stick to the Katamari.
